Living the Hatch Life
A coastal lifestyle and apparel brand celebrating fishing, scalloping, boating, family, festival weekends, and the small-town magic of Steinhatchee, Florida.
Built from a real story: a Tarpon Springs guide, a first night at Good Times, a father-son birthday fishing trip, and an accidental Fiddler Crab Festival weekend that turned into a yearly pull back to the Hatch.
Field note
The Hatch has stories.First heard from a fishing guide. Confirmed at Good Times. Sealed at Fiddler Crab Festival.
Development visual: abstract coastal field-guide panel, not a photograph of a real local scene.
Found by accident
A Tarpon Springs fishing guide said “Steinhatchee.” Curiosity turned into a drive from Jackson, Georgia, and the town did the rest.
A crew with heart
Scooter, Redd, Trusty, Bad Bonnie, and Hemingway turn the Hatch Life into a world built for shirts, stickers, stories, and smiles.
Road to February
The first real-world target is Fiddler Crab Festival: a weekend of food, parade energy, vendors, fishing, and Steinhatchee memories.
Meet the crew
Original marine mascots for a Gulf Coast brand.
Early concept portraits are now on deck. Final production artwork may evolve as the brand style is refined.
The strip
One bad idea, four panels at a time.
A complete story in 6 four-panel strips. They run in order, and the last one finishes it.

The Forecast
A small craft advisory empties the dock in Steinhatchee — except for the crew who read it as an invitation. Strip one of the Living the Hatch Life comic.

The Plan
Trusty has a plan, Redd has an ellipsis, and Bad Bonnie Bonnet has the rope. Strip two of the Living the Hatch Life comic.

The Motor
Bonnie demands the rope. Scooter hands it over. Strip three of the Living the Hatch Life comic.
